Privacy Policy
We ask for what we need to plan your trip and nothing more. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can do about it.
1. Definitions
Personal data — any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Controller — the party that decides why and how personal data is processed. For this website, that is us.
Processor — a party that processes personal data on the Controller's instructions.
You / the user — any person who uses this website or travels with us.
2. Who we are
Pan East International Tourism Co. L.L.C. (شركة حول الشرق للسياحة الدولية ذ.م.م), commercial register number 14646, national number 200088860, of Al Majeed Building #9, Rizek Al Rashdan Street, 1st floor, Shmeisani, Amman, Jordan, trading as Pan East Tours, is the Controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Contact for all privacy matters: [email protected], or write to the address above marked for the attention of the Data Protection Contact.
3. About this policy
This policy tells you how we handle personal data collected through travel.paneast.org and in the course of arranging and delivering your travel. Where this policy and our Booking Terms differ on a question of personal data, this policy prevails. We may amend it; the version in force is the one published here, and the amendment date is at the foot of the page.
4. Scope
This policy applies to visitors to this website, people who send us an enquiry, people who book with us, and members of a traveller's party whose details are given to us by the person who books.
5. Principles
We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently; only for the purposes set out below; limited to what those purposes require; accurately and kept up to date; for no longer than necessary; securely and confidentially; and we take responsibility for demonstrating that we do so.
6. What we collect, and how
You give us directly, through the enquiry form or the trip planner on this website, or by email, telephone or WhatsApp:
- your name, email address, country and telephone or WhatsApp number;
- your travel dates, party size and the itinerary you build or ask about;
- anything you choose to tell us in the message box, which may include hotel preferences, a celebration, mobility needs or dietary requirements.
You give us when you book, in addition:
- the full names, nationalities, passport details and dates of birth of everyone in your party, which are required by hotels and by the Jordanian authorities;
- where you choose to tell us, dietary, medical, mobility or accessibility information needed to make your arrangements safe and suitable;
- your billing details and a record of payments made.
We generate: your quotation, itinerary and booking file, and our correspondence with you.
Collected automatically: our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address and request data as part of delivering and securing this website. This website does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any such cookie is set.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
8. Who we share it with
We disclose personal data only as far as the purposes above require, to:
- the travel suppliers who deliver your arrangements — hotels, transport operators, guides, activity and excursion operators, and restaurants — which is the whole point of a booking, and which is why a hotel receives the names of your party;
- the competent Jordanian authorities, where a tourism, immigration, security or tax requirement obliges us;
- trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, email and communications platforms, and payment service providers) who process data strictly on our instructions and under binding confidentiality and data protection terms;
- our professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, accountants and insurers — where necessary;
- any party to whom disclosure is required by applicable law, regulatory directive or court order.
9. Transfers outside Jordan
Delivering this service means your personal data may be transferred to, stored in or accessed from countries outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan — including where a hotel, airline or activity operator on your itinerary is located, and where our hosting and communications providers operate.
Your personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom only where the destination provides a level of protection not less than that applied within the Kingdom, or after obtaining your express consent to the transfer, given after you have been informed that an adequate level of protection is not available.
10. Security
We apply reasonable and appropriate administrative, physical and technical security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, loss and similar risks — broadly, industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, access restricted to the staff who need it for their work, and secure backups.
No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to deliver and support your travel, or as required or permitted by applicable law — including satisfying statutory, tourism, tax and accounting requirements, and resolving disputes. When retention is no longer necessary we securely delete or anonymise it.
12. Users under 18
This website and the booking process are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from anyone under the age of 18. Children travel with us regularly, and their data reaches us from the adult who books.
Where the personal data of a child is provided to us, the legal basis is the consent of the parent or legal guardian, or an order of the competent court on the application of the regulatory unit where the best interests of a person lacking legal capacity so require. The person who books warrants that they hold that authority, as set out in clause 10 of our Booking Terms.
If you believe a child's data has reached us without that authority, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
13. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
- be informed about the processing of your personal data;
- access your personal data and obtain a copy of it;
- correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent — which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
- restrict or block processing in the cases the law allows;
- erase your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or where processing is unlawful;
- object to processing, including to profiling;
- receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format and have it transferred where the law provides for it;
- be notified of a personal data breach affecting you, in the cases the law requires.
How to exercise them. Write to [email protected] from the email address you booked with, or to our postal address. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Our deadline. We respond within 15 working days, counted from the day following receipt of your request. Where the request is complex we may extend that period once, by a further 15 working days, and we will tell you before the first period expires and give our reasons.
Some rights are limited where we are required to keep data by law — for example tax and accounting records — or where we need it to establish or defend a legal claim.
14. Cookies and local storage
This website is a static site. It uses only the storage strictly necessary to make the pages work and to remember choices you make in the trip planner during your visit. It does not currently set advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and no third party is permitted to set one through it. If we introduce advertising or analytics measurement, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent beforehand.
15. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, write to [email protected]. We will register your complaint with a reference number, give you a way to check its status, and handle it free of charge.
We will respond within 10 days, counted from the day following submission. If no action is taken on your complaint within that period, you may refer it to the Personal Data Protection Regulatory Unit at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (الوحدة التنظيمية لحماية البيانات الشخصية في وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة), without prejudice to your right to go to court.
If you are in a country whose law gives you the right to complain to a local supervisory authority, that right is unaffected.
16. Acknowledgement
By using this website, sending us an enquiry or making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. Your continued use of and interaction with this website and our services constitutes your ongoing consent to the collection, use, transfer, processing, storage and disclosure of personal data in the manner and for the purposes set out here.
